Due to pregnancies, frequent weight gain and weight loss, gravity and aging, the breast tissue diminishes and the breasts sag due to looser skin. A breast lifting operation redefines the breasts for a younger appearance. The procedure can usually be performed with local anesthesia

If your breasts are in proportion to your structural frame, yet have sagged, lost their firmness, a breast lifting is the solution. This can be performed to younger patients as well.

Breast lifting operation stages

It is a simple and easy operation and can be performed with general or local anesthesia in a short period of time. A small supporting implant can be used and the procedure lasts up to 3 hours. Exact applications must be discussed during consultation.

For extreme cases, an implant may be used, this is determined based on the breast tissue condition, and the method must be carefully selected according to the patients needs.

Post breast lifting operation

There are no special requirements from the patient post breast lifting. The patient may return to work the following day as there are no serious pains. The bandages must remain for 15 days to ensure proper healing and no excessive exercise must be done. The patient must refrain from smoking. Sexual activity should be avoided up to 2 weeks and the supporting bra must be used up to 3 months. Full healing is complete within 6 months are breast lifting does not impair breast feeding.
