Ginecomasty ( male chest enlargement)
Male patients who have large chests are not comfortable with their appearances and this may limit their activities
Why does it occur?
The breast is determined by gender hormones and biological reasons, the main reason being the estrogen and progesterone hormones. Male hormones normally confine the chest. During puberty, tumors, hyper triode activity or medications may cause the enlargement. Although there is no specific reason during adult life, cancer must be kept in mind. There are special conditions that may cause it, such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, lung cancer, lung diseases, malfunction of the triode, testicular illnesses, use of drugs and steroids.
