What is neck cosmetic surgery?

Neck cosmetic surgery is to enhance the neck to have better contours, lifitng of sagged skin and muscles to look younger. Their presence makes the patient look heavier and older. In some cases, even when the patient’s weight is normal, excess fat may accumulate at the neck, making them look heavier and older than they actually are.

Cures
Those cases where excess fat id accumated with younger patients, local liposuction is applied. The skin must have its elasticity and is a prefered proceedure to younger patients.

With advanced age, skin sagging and loose muscle tissue may be present, in such cases fat and muscle tissue must be intervened.

In cases where the jaw line is week, an implant can improve the appearance tremendously.

Both the chin and neck will be improved by the newly projected saw line. Usually, profiloplasty, meeting a nose and chin intervention, or a lower face lift will have improved results. Insitions are comonly made in the natural line of the jaw and behind the ears, or at times, face lifters are insertes. These proceedures are selected based on the patients needs.

Fine lines at the neck can be filled by fat or colagen injections to minimize their appeareance. Sometimes, botox injections are helpfull as well to younger patients, and patients with advanced age respond better to lifting.

Neck lifts are usually combined with face lifts, and the lower face lifts also improve the neck. Once excess fat and skin is removed, the muscle tissue is stretched and stitches seldom needs removal.

Lifting can be made with loca lor general anesthesia, the proceedure last upto an hour and is painless. It does not require hospital stay. A special bandage is used and the patient resumes their daily life within one week.
