About

Dr Battal was born in 1962 Istanbul, Turkey.

After graduating The Kabatas High School in 1980, he was admitted to the Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Medical School and graduated in the Fall of 1986.

He won the internship of the Faculty in 1987 for General Medicine and during his internship, became a research fellow at the Nevada Universitity in General Medicin for 6 months in 1990.

He has completed his internship in 1992 and worked at the  İstanbul American Hospital’s hand surgery department for 6 months.

Dr Battal was transfered to the Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical School’s Emergency Surgery department and after working there for 3 years, he has won the Japanese Ministry’s MONBUSHO scholarship in 1995 went to Japan to specialize plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery returning to Turkey in 1998 to work in this field for another year at the Istanbul Univerity Cerrahpasa Medical School.

Dr Battal currently works as a plastic surgeon in Istanbul and speaks advanced level in English and middle level French and Japanese.
